How Shipping Works
Salish Sea Crafts is a marketplace connecting you with independent San Juan Islands makers. Each maker sets their own shipping rate and handles their own fulfillment. Shipping is charged as a flat rate per maker per order.
Shipping Rates
- Each maker sets a flat shipping rate per order (typically $5-15)
- If you order from multiple makers, you'll see separate shipping charges for each
- Shipping rates are shown at checkout before you pay
Delivery Timelines
- In-stock items: Typically ship within 3-5 business days
- Made-to-order items: Lead times vary by maker (shown on the product page)
- Domestic shipping: USPS Priority Mail, usually 2-5 business days after dispatch
You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order ships.
Local Pickup
Some makers offer free local pickup on the San Juan Islands. If available, you'll see a local pickup option at checkout. After you place your order, the maker will contact you with pickup details.
Multi-Maker Orders
If your order contains items from multiple makers, each maker ships their items separately. You may receive multiple packages at different times. Each shipment will have its own tracking number.
Shipping Destinations
We currently ship within the United States only. International shipping is not available at this time.
Lost or Damaged Packages
If your package is lost or arrives damaged, please contact us at hello@salishseacrafts.com within 7 days. See our Refund Policy for details.
